Sunan Abi Dawud 1012 (Book 2, Hadith 623) #21304
Satisfaction from Allah for Forgetfulness

SUMMARY: Allah gave satisfaction to a person who forgot to make two prostrations at the end of prayer.

This tradition has also been transmitted by Abu Hurairah through a different chain of narrators. This version goes: he did not make two prostrations (at the end of prayer) due to forgetfulness until Allah gave him satisfaction about it.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to do your best in all aspects of life
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a person who forgot to make two prostrations at the end of their prayer. However, Allah was pleased with them and gave them satisfaction for their forgetfulness. This teaches us that even if we make mistakes, Allah will still be merciful and forgive us if we are sincere in our repentance. We should always strive to do our best in all aspects of life, but also remember that it is okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them and ask for forgiveness when needed.
