Ending Prayer with Takbir

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad's prayer was known to end by the takbir (loud proclamation of Allah's greatness).

Ibn 'Abbas said: The end of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah was known by the takbir (pronounced aloud).
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ يُعْلَمُ انْقِضَاءُ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ
