Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "If anyone of you feels drowsy while praying he should go to bed (sleep) till his slumber is over because in praying while drowsy one does not know whether one is asking for forgiveness or for a bad thing for oneself".
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the importance of being mindful in all aspects of life, including prayer. He reminded us that if we become too drowsy while praying, then it is better to take a break until the feeling passes so that our prayers can remain sincere and meaningful. This hadith encourages us to stay focused on our prayer so that we can ask for forgiveness instead of something bad for ourselves unknowingly due to lack of awareness or focus during prayer time.
