Prayer of Bowing and Prostration

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad used to recite a prayer when bowing and prostrating.

'Aishah said that the prophet used to say when bowing and prostrating, "All-Glorious, All-Holy, Lord of the angels and spirit.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ ‏ "‏ سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ رَبُّ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالرُّوحِ

This phrase also serves as a reminder to us that we should always be humble before Allah and seek His guidance in all matters. By reciting this phrase during our salahs, we are reminded to stay focused on Him throughout our prayers so that we can receive His blessings more easily.
