QUICK LESSONS:
Take your time while praying; Sit properly during salat; Follow the example set by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how to properly perform prayer. It is narrated by Abu Qilabah and Malik b. al-Huwairith that they saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sitting straight after completing his first or third rak’ahs in prayer before standing up again for the next one. This teaches us that we should take our time to sit straight after each rak’ahs in prayer and not rush through it without proper posture. We should also take care to ensure that we are sitting correctly during our prayers so as to show respect for Allah's commands and demonstrate humility before Him.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was an example for us in all aspects of life including how we pray; therefore it is important for us to follow his example when performing salat so as to gain maximum benefit from it both spiritually and physically. We must remember that prayer is a form of worship which requires concentration and focus on Allah's words; thus taking time between each rak’ahs helps us stay focused on what we are doing instead of rushing through it without paying attention or getting distracted by other thoughts or activities around us.
