Follow in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him), Make efforts to perfect your prayers for maximum rewards from God Almighty .

This hadith is about the prayer offered by Ali ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). It was narrated by Mutarrif and Imran bin Husain that they both prayed behind Ali ibn Abu Talib and noticed that his prayer was similar to the one offered by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). During his prostration he uttered takbir which means "Allah is most great". He also uttered takbir when he bowed down and when he stood up at the end of two rak’ahs. After finishing their prayers, Imran caught hold of Mutarrif's hand and said that Ali has led them in a prayer just like Prophet Muhammad's(may peace be upon him). This hadith teaches us how important it is to follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet Muhammad(may peace be upon him) in all aspects including our prayers. We should strive to make our prayers as perfect as possible so we can gain maximum rewards from Allah Almighty for our deeds.
