Reciting the Quran in Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited the Quran in his noon and afternoon prayers, which was evident by the shaking of his beard.

Abu Ma’mar said: We asked Khabbab: Did the Messenger of Allah ____recited____ (the Quran) in the noon and afternoon prayers? He replied: Yes. We then asked: How did you know this? He said: By the shaking of his beard, may peace be upon him.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the Quran during his noon and afternoon prayers. Khabbab noticed this because of the shaking of his beard. This shows us that it is important to recite from the Quran during our prayers as it was done by our beloved prophet ﷺ. We should also take care to ensure that we are reciting correctly and with proper pronunciation so that we can get maximum benefit from it. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us about paying attention to details when observing people's actions as Khabbab noticed something small like a shaking beard but was able to deduce something big like what he was reciting in prayer!
