Pray regularly; Recite Fatihat Al Kitab; Ask Allah for Paradise; Seek His Refuge From Hell Fire .

This hadith is about the importance of seeking refuge from hell fire when praying. It was narrated by Jabir, who told the story of Mu’adh, a young man who was asked by the Prophet ﷺ what he did in prayer. He replied that he recited Fatihat al Kitab, which is the first chapter of the Quran, as well as asking Allah for paradise and seeking his refuge from hell fire. The Prophet ﷺ then said that both him and Mu’adh go around both paradise and hell fire or something similar to this.
