The Prohibition of Selling Unripe Fruits

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits until they are ripe and beneficial, and this prohibition applies to both the seller and the buyer.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Messenger forbade the sale of fruits till their benefit is evident. He forbade both the seller and the buyer (such sale).

QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest in dealings with others , Wait for things you want or need patiently , Trust Allah's plan .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a prohibition that was given by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding selling fruits before they are ripe. He forbade both the seller and the buyer from engaging in such a transaction. This teaches us that it is important to be honest in our dealings with others, even if it means we have to wait for something we want or need. We should not take advantage of someone else's misfortune or lack of knowledge just because we can get away with it. It also teaches us that patience is key when dealing with matters related to our livelihoods, as Allah will provide for us in His own time if we remain patient and trust Him.
