Sunan Abi Dawud 711 (Book 2, Hadith 321) #21002
Praying Together as a Couple

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to pray at night and his wife Aisha would sleep between him and the qiblah. When he wanted to offer witr prayer, he would wake her up so she could join him in prayer.

'Urwah reported on the authority of 'A’ishah: The Messenger of Allah used to pray at night and she ('A’ishah) would lie between him and the qiblah, sleeping on the bed on which he would sleep. When he wanted to offer the witr prayer, he awakened her and she offered the witr prayer.
