QUICK LESSONS:
Be respectful of others and their belongings; pray in a clean environment whenever possible; strive to make sure you are always respectful when visiting someone else's home or elsewhere; show respect for those who show you respect.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the Prophet Muhammad's humility and his respect for the people he visited. He was known to be very humble and often prayed on mats or carpets that were washed with water by Umm Sulaim. This shows us how important it is to be respectful of others and their belongings, even if they are not as luxurious as our own. It also teaches us that prayer is an important part of our lives and should be done in a clean environment whenever possible. We should strive to make sure we are always respectful of others when visiting them in their homes or elsewhere so that we can show them the same respect they show us.
