QUICK LESSONS:
Respect religious activities and stay focused on tasks at hand
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ prayer in Mecca. While he was reciting from the Quran, specifically from Surah al-Mu'minun, he began to cough and stopped his recitation. This shows us that even though we may be engaged in something important or holy like prayer or reading of Quran, if something interrupts us then it is okay to pause what we are doing until we can continue again without any distractions. It also teaches us that when engaging in an activity such as prayer or reading of Quran it is important to focus on what we are doing so that nothing distracts us from our task at hand.
