EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer habits. It is narrated by 'Umar b. Abu Salamah that he saw the Messenger of Allah praying girded with a single piece of cloth, and its two ends were placed over his shoulders. This hadith teaches us that when we pray, we should dress modestly and cover ourselves appropriately according to Islamic teachings. We should also strive to emulate the Prophet's example in our prayers and other aspects of our lives as much as possible, for he was an exemplary role model for all Muslims to follow in their daily lives.
