The Importance of Ablution

SUMMARY: The Prophet advised Fatimah to take a bath and perform ablution for every prayer.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Fatimah daughter of AbuHubaysh came to the Prophet and narrated what happened with her. He said: Then take a bath and then perform ablution for every prayer and pray.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ فَذَكَرَ خَبَرَهَا وَقَالَ ‏ "‏ ثُمَّ اغْتَسِلِي ثُمَّ تَوَضَّئِي لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ وَصَلِّي

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of performing ablution before praying. It was narrated by Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin, that Fatimah daughter of AbuHubaysh came to the Prophet and told him what happened with her. In response, he advised her to take a bath and then perform ablution for every prayer and pray. Performing wudu or ablution is an important part of Islamic ritual worship as it helps cleanse one's body and soul before engaging in prayer. It also serves as a reminder that we should always strive to be in our best state when engaging in any form of worship or communication with Allah SWT. Additionally, this hadith also highlights the importance of taking a bath regularly which helps keep us clean physically as well as spiritually.
