Take a bath , Tie cloth over private parts , Offer prayer .

This hadith is about the prayer that women with prolonged flow of blood should perform. According to the hadith narrated by Sulaiman b. Yasar on the authority of Umm Salamah, it is recommended for such women to take a bath at the beginning of their additional period and then tie a cloth over their private parts before offering prayer. The name of the woman referred to in this tradition was Fatimah daughter of Abu Hubaish as pointed out by Hammad b. Zaid on the authority Ayyub. This hadith teaches us that even if we are facing certain physical conditions or illnesses, we must still strive to fulfill our religious obligations as much as possible and seek help from Allah in doing so if needed. It also reminds us that we must be mindful about our modesty when performing prayers or any other religious acts even when no one else is around us because Allah knows all that we do and see all that happens around us at all times regardless if anyone else can see it or not .
