QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudu thoroughly with attention to detail
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's practice of performing ablution. It is narrated by Ar-Rubayyi', daughter of Mu'awwidh ibn Afra'. During ablution, the Prophet would insert his two fingers into his ear holes. This shows us that it is important to clean our ears during wudu, as part of our ritual cleansing before prayer. It also teaches us to be mindful and thorough when performing any task, no matter how small or mundane it may seem. We should take care to do things properly and with attention to detail, so that we can get the most out of them.
