Utilizing Leftover Water

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used leftover water to wipe his head.

Al-Rubayyi’ reported: The Prophet wiped his head with water which was left over in his hand.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مِنْ فَضْلِ مَاءٍ كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ
