Washing the Khuffs

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was seen passing wet hands over his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather).

Narrated Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umaiya Ad-Damri: My father said, "I saw the Prophet passing wet hands over his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، رَأَى النَّبِيَّ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ‏.‏ وَتَابَعَهُ حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ وَأَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى‏.‏
