Taking Bath with a Brass Vessel

SUMMARY: Taking a bath with a brass vessel was practiced by the Prophet Muhammad and his wife Aisha.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: I and the Messenger of Allah used to take bath with a brass vessel.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنِي صَاحِبٌ، لِي عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ شَبَهٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin, tells us that she and the Prophet Muhammad used to take bath with a brass vessel. He did not live extravagantly or wastefully but instead chose to use simple items for everyday tasks such as bathing.
