Follow Sunnah, Be Mindful while Performing Wudhu

This hadith is about the Prophet's practice of performing ablution. It was narrated by Umm Umarah and Habib al-Ansari who reported on the authority of my grandmother, Umm Umarah. The Prophet wanted to perform ablution and a vessel containing 2/3 mudd of water was brought to him. This hadith teaches us that we should follow the Sunnah or teachings of the Prophet in our daily lives and be mindful when performing wudu or ablutions for prayer. We should also be mindful about how much water we use when performing wudu as it is important to conserve resources like water for future generations.
