Options for Buyers and Sellers

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that buyers and sellers have the option to cancel or confirm a bargain before they separate from each other.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said, "The buyer and the seller have the option to cancel or confirm the bargain before they separate from each other or if the sale is optional". Nafi' said, "Ibn 'Umar used to separate quickly from the seller if he had bought a thing which he liked".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect agreements, Be honest in transactions , Ensure satisfaction with bargains .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about the rights of buyers and sellers in a transaction. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that both parties have the option to cancel or confirm a bargain before they separate from each other. This means that if either party is not satisfied with the terms of the agreement, they can choose to end it without any consequences. Additionally, Ibn 'Umar used to quickly separate from sellers if he liked what he bought, which shows us how important it is for both parties to be satisfied with their agreement before parting ways.
