The Dangers of Alcohol Addiction

SUMMARY: This hadith warns against the dangers of consuming alcohol and suggests that those who die addicted to it will face a painful punishment in the afterlife.

It was narrated that Ad-Dahhak said: "Whoever dies addicted to Khamr will have boiling water thrown in his face when he departs this world".
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ مَنْ مَاتَ مُدْمِنًا لِلْخَمْرِ نُضِحَ فِي وَجْهِهِ بِالْحَمِيمِ حِينَ يُفَارِقُ الدُّنْيَا
