SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of following the commands of Allah and His Messenger (SAW) without any hesitation or doubt.

It was narrated from Asma' bint Yazid that: A paternal uncle of hers whose name was Anas said: "Ibn 'Abbas said: Does not Allah say: "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)'.? He said: 'Yes'. He said: 'Does not Allah say: 'It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision?' I said: 'Yes'. He said: 'I bear witness that the Prophet of Allah SAW forbade An-Naqir, Al-Muqayyar, Ad-Dubba', and Al-Hantam'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of following the commands of Allah and His Messenger without any hesitation or doubt. It was narrated from Asma’ bint Yazid that her paternal uncle Anas said that Ibn ‘Abbas asked him if it was true that Allah says in the Quran “And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from it”. He answered yes. Then Ibn ‘Abbas asked if it was true that Allah also says in another verse “It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision” to which he again answered yes. After this Ibn Abbas bore witness to what Prophet Muhammad forbade such as An Naqir, Al Muqayyar Ad Dubba’ and Al Hantam. This Hadith teaches us how important it is for us to obey all orders given by our Creator as well as those given by our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW without questioning them or having doubts about them because we are believers who trust in God's wisdom above all else.
