SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught that angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.

It was narrated from Abu Talhah that: The Prophet SAW said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image".

QUICK LESSONS:
Keep your house clean; Respect all creatures created by Allah; Avoid idolatry; Invite angelic presence in your house.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught that angels do not enter a house if it contains either a dog or an image. This means that it is important to keep our homes free of these two things if we want to invite the presence of angels into our home. Dogs are considered unclean animals according to Islamic teachings and images are forbidden as they can lead to idolatry. Therefore, by keeping these two things out of our homes, we can ensure that the angels will come and bring us blessings from Allah. It is also important for us to remember that even though dogs and images may be kept out of our homes, we should still treat them with respect as they are creations of Allah too.
