Giving Charity Without Permission

SUMMARY: A woman should not give charity from her husband's earnings without his permission, as she will only receive half of the reward.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If a woman gives something (ie in charity) from her husband's earnings without his permission, she will get half his reward".

QUICK LESSONS:
Ask for permission before giving away someone else's wealth in charity .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about giving charity from one's earnings. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that if a woman gives something in charity from her husband's earnings without his permission, she will only get half of the reward for it. This means that it is important to ask for permission before giving away something that belongs to someone else, even if it is for a good cause like charity. It also teaches us that we should be generous and give away our wealth in order to gain rewards from Allah SWT.
