QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Ali states that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) prohibited him from wearing a ring on his forefinger and middle finger. This is known as Khutuwah in Arabic, which means to wear a ring for adornment or decoration. It is also known as Qabdah, which means to wear a ring for protection against evil eye or envy. Wearing rings on these two fingers was considered an act of arrogance and pride in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Therefore, it was forbidden by him so that people would not be tempted to show off their wealth or status through such acts of vanity.
