Prohibitions on Clothing and Recitation of Quran

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade wearing garments dyed with safflower and Al-Qassiyah, as well as reciting the Quran while bowing.

It was narrated from 'Ali that : The Messenger of Allah SAW forbade (wearing) garments dyed with safflower, and Al-Qassiyah garments, and reciting Qur'an while he is bowing.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، مَوَالِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ وَالثِّيَابِ الْقَسِّيَّةِ وَعَنْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ وَهُوَ رَاكِعٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us many things about how to live our lives in accordance with Islamic teachings. One of these teachings is that we should not wear certain types of clothing or recite the Quran while bowing. Specifically, he forbade wearing garments dyed with safflower or Al-Qassiyah, which are two types of dye used to color fabrics. He also prohibited reciting the Quran while bowing during prayer or other acts of worship. These prohibitions were meant to ensure that Muslims remain focused on their worship and do not become distracted by worldly matters such as clothing or reciting verses from the Quran without understanding their meaning. By following these instructions, Muslims can stay focused on worshipping Allah and living a life according to His teachings.
