This hadith is about how Umar asked Suhaib why he was wearing a gold ring, to which Suhaib replied that someone better than him saw it and did not criticize it. That person was none other than the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad SAW. This hadith teaches us that we should follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and take his example as our guide in life.
