QUICK LESSONS:
Follow teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught us to take care of our bodies and not to harm them in any way. He prohibited us from filing our teeth or getting tattoos as these are considered forms of self-harm. Filing the teeth is a process where the edges of the teeth are filed down to make them look more even or attractive. Tattoos are designs made on the skin with ink that can be permanent or temporary. Both practices were forbidden by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He wanted us to take care of ourselves and not do anything that would cause harm, either physically or spiritually. We should follow his teachings in order to stay healthy and safe both inside and out.
