The Branches of Faith

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught that faith has many branches, the most important of which is to believe in Allah and the least of which is to remove something harmful from the road. He also taught that modesty is a branch of faith.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW said: 'Faith has seventy-odd branches, the most virtuous of which is La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah) and the least of which is removing something harmful from the road. And modesty (Al-Haya') is a branch of faith'."

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught us about faith and its importance in our lives. He said that faith has seventy-odd branches, with La ilaha illallah being the most virtuous and removing something harmful from the road being the least virtuous. He also said that modesty, or Al-Haya', was a branch of faith as well. This means that we should strive to be modest in our behavior and actions, as it will help us grow closer to Allah and increase our level of faith. We should also remember to do small acts like removing something dangerous from a path so no one gets hurt or injured by it. These small acts can make a big difference in someone's life!
