EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the definition of a Muslim. It states that anyone who prays in the same way as Muslims, faces the same direction when praying and eats animals slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law is considered to be a Muslim. Praying in Islam involves facing towards Mecca five times each day and reciting certain verses from the Quran. Facing towards Mecca when praying is known as Qiblah. Eating meat from animals slaughtered according to Islamic law means that they must have been killed humanely with one swift cut to their throat while mentioning Allah's name. These three actions are what make someone a Muslim according to this hadith.
