The Reward of Perfect Wudu and Prayer

SUMMARY: Performing wudu and attending Isha prayer in congregation, followed by four similar Rakahs with perfect recitation, bowing and prostrating will bring a reward like that of Lailat Al-Qadar.

It was narrated that Ka'b said: "Whoever performs Wudu and performs Wudu well, then attends Isha prayer in congregation, then prays four similar Rakahs after that, reciting therein and bowing and prostrating perfectly, that will bring him a reward like that of (praying) Lailat Al-Qadar". أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ تُبَيْعٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ شَهِدَ صَلاَةَ الْعَتَمَةِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى إِلَيْهَا أَرْبَعًا مِثْلَهَا يَقْرَأُ فِيهَا وَيُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الأَجْرِ مِثْلُ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of performing wudu and prayer in congregation. It was narrated by Ka'b that if one performs wudu properly, attends Isha prayer in congregation, then prays four similar Rakahs after that with perfect recitation, bowing and prostrating then he will be rewarded like that of Lailat Al-Qadar. This hadith emphasizes on the importance of performing wudu properly before praying as it is an essential part for any Muslim to perform their prayers correctly. It also encourages Muslims to attend congregational prayers as it has many rewards associated with it. Moreover, this hadith teaches us to recite our prayers perfectly while bowing and prostrating so we can get the maximum reward from Allah SWT for our efforts.
