Showing Compassion During I'tikaf

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) would allow 'Aisha to comb and oil his hair while he was in I'tikaf in the mosque during her monthly periods.

Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet used to (put) bend his head (out) to me while he was in I'tikaf in the mosque during my monthly periods and I would comb and oil his hair.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ يُصْغِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهْوَ مُجَاوِرٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith shows us the compassion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ towards his wife, Aisha. During her monthly period, when she was not allowed to enter the mosque, he would come out of it so that she could take care of him by combing and oiling his hair. This is an example of how we should treat our family members with kindness and respect even during difficult times. We should also be mindful of our religious obligations and follow them accordingly.
