QUICK LESSONS:
Respect property rights and do not steal anything from anyone even if it is small amount or item .

EXPLANATIONS:
In Islam, stealing is considered to be a major sin and is punishable by law. This hadith narrates an incident where the Prophet Muhammad cut off the hand of a thief who had stolen a shield worth three Dirhams. This punishment was given as an example to show that theft will not be tolerated in any form or amount and that it should be taken seriously. It also serves as an example of how justice should be served in Islamic society, with punishments being meted out according to the severity of the crime committed. The punishment for theft is meant to act as both a deterrent and reminder for people not to commit such acts again, while also providing justice for those affected by it.
