QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your elders ; Avoid polytheism ; Do not take false oaths ; Do not kill innocent people .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned against committing major sins such as associating partners with Allah, disobeying parents, murder and taking false oaths. These are considered to be the four major sins in Islam that one should avoid at all costs. Associating partners with Allah is a form of polytheism which is strictly forbidden in Islam and can lead to severe punishment from God Almighty. Disobedience towards parents is also considered a major sin as it goes against the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah which emphasize respect for one’s elders. Murder or killing another person without any valid reason is also prohibited in Islam and carries severe consequences both in this world and the hereafter. Taking false oaths knowingly is also considered a major sin as it involves lying which goes against Islamic teachings of truthfulness and honesty. Therefore Muslims should strive to stay away from these four major sins so that they can attain salvation on the Day of Judgment.
