QUICK LESSONS:
Respect prayer times by not interrupting or distracting others from their prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of respecting prayer time. It was narrated by Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that he was praying when a son of Marwan tried to pass in front of him. He tried to stop him but he did not go back, so he hit him. Marwan asked why he hit his brother's son, and Abu Sa'eed replied that it wasn't the boy, but rather the Satan that he hit because Prophet Muhammad said if someone tries to pass in front of you while you are praying then try your best to stop them and if they persist then fight them as they are a devil. This hadith teaches us that we should respect prayer time by not interrupting or distracting others from their prayers, as well as teaching us how we should deal with those who do try to disturb our prayers - by fighting them off like we would fight off a devil.
