EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the compensation or diyah that is to be paid when a person's finger is cut off. According to this hadith, the diyah for each finger was ten camels. This means that if someone cuts off a person's finger then they must pay them ten camels as compensation. This teaches us that we should not harm anyone and if we do then we must make up for it in some way. It also teaches us to value our body parts and take care of them so that no one has to pay any kind of compensation because of us.
