The Ruling of Diyah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ruled that a certain amount of money should be given as Diyah.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: the Prophet ruled that twelve thousand (should be given) as Diyah. (Hahan)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، سَمِعْنَاهُ مَرَّةً، يَقُولُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَضَى بِاثْنَىْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا يَعْنِي فِي الدِّيَةِ
