Invalidity of Biting in Fights

SUMMARY: The Prophet judged that a fight between two men was invalid when one of them bit the other and a tooth fell out.

It was narrated from Ya'la bin Munyah that: he fought a man and one of them bit the other, who pulled his forearm away from his mouth, and a front tooth fell out. The matter was referred to the Prophet and he said: "Would one of you bite his brother as a young camel bites?" And judged it to be invalid.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the judgement given by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding a fight between two men. One of them bit the other, and as a result, one of his front teeth fell out. When this matter was referred to the Prophet ﷺ, he asked if one would bite his brother like how young camels bite each other. He then judged it to be invalid. This hadith teaches us that we should not resort to violence or physical harm when dealing with conflicts or disagreements with others, even if it is in self-defense. We should instead try our best to resolve any issues peacefully and without causing harm to anyone else.
