Sunan an-Nasai 4760 (Book 45, Hadith 55) #19293
Biting Like An Animal Is Not Acceptable

SUMMARY: The hadith is about two men who were in a dispute and one of them bit the other, resulting in the loss of a tooth. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ruled that there was no compensation for this action as it was not acceptable to bite someone like an animal.

It was narrated that 'Imran bin Husain said: "Ya'la fought with a man, and one of them bit the other, who pulled his hand away from his mouth, and a front tooth fell out. They referred their dispute to the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'Would one of you bite his brother as a stallion bites? There is no Diyah for that".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how two people were in a dispute and one of them bit the other, resulting in the loss of a tooth. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ruled that there should be no compensation for this action as it was not acceptable to bite someone like an animal would do. This teaches us that we should always try to resolve our disputes peacefully and without resorting to violence or aggression. We should also remember that biting someone is never acceptable behavior, even if we are angry or frustrated with them. We must always strive to treat others with respect and kindness, even when we disagree with them or have different opinions on something.
