QUICK LESSONS:
Respect those who are weaker than you; Treat people with kindness; Do not take advantage of someone's vulnerability; Follow Allah's teachings.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the punishment for killing or mutilating slaves. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever kills their slave, they will be killed in return, and whoever mutilates their slave, they will be mutilated in return. This hadith teaches us that it is wrong to harm someone who is weaker than us and we should treat them with respect and kindness. It also shows us that Allah has given everyone rights which must be respected no matter what their status in society may be. We should never take advantage of someone's vulnerability to hurt them as this would go against the teachings of Islam.
