Pay off debts of our fellow brothers & sisters after death; Offer help without hesitation or question; Take responsibility & be generous towards others; Take care of others' affairs after death

This hadith teaches us that it is important to pay off the debts of our deceased companions. It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah, from his father, that a man from among the Ansar was brought to the prophet for him to offer the funeral prayer and he said that this companion owed a debt. Abu Qutdah then offered to guarantee it for him and asked if he should pay it in full. The Prophet then said yes and accepted his offer. This hadith shows us how important it is for Muslims to take care of their fellow brothers and sisters even after they have passed away by paying off their debts so they can rest in peace knowing their affairs are taken care of. It also teaches us about generosity as Abu Qutdah offered without hesitation or question when asked by the Prophet if he would guarantee this debt in full.
