Be generous with your wealth by lending it out when needed

This hadith is about the reward of lending. It was narrated by Isla'il bin Ibrahim, who said that his grandfather told him that the Prophet borrowed forty thousand from him and then some wealth came to him, so he paid back the loan and said "May Allah bless your family and your wealth for you; the reward for lending is praise and repayment". This hadith teaches us that when we lend something to someone, we should be praised for our generosity. We should also expect repayment in return as a sign of gratitude.
