QUICK LESSONS:
Abstain from buying/selling dogs , giving/receiving gifts from those who have committed fornication , paying money to fortune tellers .
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught us that certain transactions are forbidden. These include buying or selling a dog, giving or receiving gifts from someone who has committed fornication, and paying money to a fortuneteller. Dogs were considered unclean in Islamic culture and so it was forbidden to buy or sell them. Similarly, it was not permissible to give or receive gifts from someone who had committed fornication as this would be encouraging immoral behavior. Finally, it was also forbidden to pay money to fortunetellers as this is considered an act of disbelief in Islam. All these activities are prohibited by Allah and should be avoided by Muslims at all times.
