This hadith is about the prohibition of a certain type of transaction called Habal Al-Habalah. This was a practice that existed during the time before Islam, known as Jahiliyyah. It involved buying an animal such as a camel and waiting until it had produced offspring and then selling both animals together. The Prophet Muhammad forbade this practice because it was unfair to both parties involved in the transaction, as well as to the animals themselves. He wanted to ensure that all transactions were fair and just for everyone involved, including animals.
