QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest & fair when dealing with others in business transactions

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that during the time of Prophet Muhammad people used to buy and sell goods at the top of the marketplace without measuring. However, he forbade them from selling it in the same place where they had bought it until they moved it. This hadith teaches us that we should not be dishonest when buying or selling goods and should not take advantage of others by reselling items at a higher price without moving them first. It also encourages us to be honest and fair when dealing with others in business transactions. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us to always practice honesty and integrity even if no one is watching us as Allah is always watching over our actions.
