QUICK LESSONS:
Fast for 3 days each month; Pray 2 rak'at of duha; Pray witr before sleeping

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised his friend Abu Huraira to observe three things in order to increase their faith and piety. Firstly, he asked him to fast for three days each month. This is known as sawm or fasting which is one of the five pillars of Islam. Secondly, he asked him to pray two rak'at of duha prayer which is a voluntary prayer that can be performed after sunrise until just before noon. Lastly, he asked him to pray witr before going to sleep at night. Witr is an odd-numbered night prayer that consists of an odd number of units with one unit being the minimum and eleven being the maximum amount allowed in one sitting. All these practices are important for Muslims as they help them stay connected with Allah SWT and increase their faith and piety towards Him.
