Pursue knowledge, prioritize learning over material possessions.

This hadith speaks about the signs that will occur before the Day of Judgment. It states that wealth and trade will become widespread, but knowledge will disappear. People may have to search far and wide for a scribe who can write down their transactions. This suggests that people in this time period may not value knowledge as much as they do material possessions or money. The Prophet Muhammad is warning us to prioritize our pursuit of knowledge over other worldly pursuits so we can be prepared for the Day of Judgment.
