EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of earning your own food. It teaches us that it is better to work hard and earn our own money than to rely on someone else’s wealth. The Prophet Muhammad also taught that a father’s wealth belongs to him and his children, so it should be shared among them. This hadith encourages us to strive for financial independence and not depend on others for our livelihood. It also teaches us the importance of sharing what we have with our family members, especially our children. We should use our resources wisely in order to provide for ourselves and those around us in an equitable manner.
