This hadith is about remembering to mention the name of Allah before eating. It was narrated by 'Aishah that some Bedouin people used to bring them meat, and they did not know whether they had mentioned the Name of Allah when slaughtering it or not. The Messenger of Allah then said, "Mention the Name of Allah and eat". This teaches us that we should always remember to say Bismillah before consuming food as it is a sign of gratitude towards God for providing us with sustenance.
